‘Keraleeyam’ started off as a printed monthly periodical in November 2005, founded by Esahaque Eswaramangalam. ‘Keraleeyam’ has later advanced well in content and readership over the years, finally leading to the launch of the online edition named ‘keraleeyamonline.com’ in January 2009. Today, ‘keraleeyamonline’ is a fast emerging online magazine among the online media.

Through various experiences in the field of journalism and reporting, Shri. Eswaramangalam obtained the confirmed conclusion that every periodical, newspaper, media is totally biased, untruthful, and dependent on support and backing (direct or indirect) from external forces. Not one of these so-called media, said to be the fourth estate of a democracy, seemed to be carrying forward with the purest and unbiased intentions the very purpose for which media evolved in this world. This has lead to the initiation and creation of Keraleeyam with the sole intention to –

• Speak out with pure intentions, the “facts” that are to be spoken out
  
• Present facts in the way they have to be presented by a responsible media, whether printed or visual
  
• Present matters that have greater ground-level priority and are of public importance

Most significant note: Contribution to ‘Keraleeyam’ and ‘keraleeyamonline.com’ can be from any individual / group who would wish to sincerely and seriously involve in contributing to the society and the public on the whole. We encourage people with genuinely unbiased intentions to involve and associate in creating a “clean” force in media.
